火前と火裏が瞭然としている。
火前は、腰から胴まで高温で焼き切ったようにかせて、
見事な灰被りの様相。
ぼつぼつと、海揚がりものによく見る
富士壺の跡のような景色が見える。
それが光線により淡く青みを帯びる。
火裏は、火色も美しく、
炎が突風のごとく吹き抜けたようである。
高台内は、火色と灰によって三つ巴の絵を描いている。
見込には全面にゴマ灰が降っている。
鼈甲色を呈している。外と内との劇的な場面展開。
灰の被り様から、これは二度窯入れしたのではないか。
総体に薄作りである。
めくるめくような、鯉江作中の秀逸と思われる。
口づくりに、欠けたようにみえるところがあるが、
欠けではなく、灰がしっかり被っている。

Works with wooden boxes already made for them include the price of the box in the product price. As for works without wooden boxes, we can, at the buyer’s request, have a box made for a separate fee. About ten days are necessary for a box to be made and then inscribed by the artist. For example : a paulownia wood box with a two-cleat lid with cords would be 2,500 yen for a sake cup, or 3,500yen for a tea bowl.
