磯の岩などが塩分によって風化浸蝕され、
表面に円形孔ができて
ハチの巣状になっているのを見ることがあるが、
そのような様子をTafoni(タフォニ)という。
専門的にはこれを「塩類風化」というらしい。
そういえば磯の海岸でよく見かける風景である。
作品のタイトルを積層浸蝕文としているが、
積層浸蝕痕とでもいうべきテクスチュアである。
平松独自の見せ場といっていいだろう。
見込の瑞々しい釉景色との対比、
場面展開が見事である。

About ten days are necessary for a box to be made and then inscribed by the artist. For example : a paulownia wood box with a two-cleat lid with cords would be 2,500 yen for a sake cup, or 3,500yen for a tea bowl.
